The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most rewarding steps in your diving journey. You'll learn to look beyond your own diving and develop the skills, awareness and confidence to recognise potential problems, assist other divers and respond effectively in an emergency.
Over two weeks, you'll work through realistic rescue scenarios in both confined and open water, putting your skills into practice and learning how to manage a range of diving emergencies.

Rescue skills and realistic emergency scenarios
PADI Rescue Diver certification
Minimum age of 12 years
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
Current PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) certification or equivalent
Completion of a Fit to Dive medical questionnaire before in-water training
Parent or guardian consent for under-18s
Students are expected to have their own suitable scuba equipment. Full scuba equipment, including a drysuit, can be hired for the duration of the course for an additional £100.
