The PADI Open Water Diver course takes you from your first scuba skills through to being a qualified diver, with a mixture of theory, pool training and real Scottish open water diving.
Over four weeks, you'll build your skills and confidence step by step, learning in the conditions you'll actually encounter as a Scottish diver. Training in cooler water and a drysuit can be challenging, but it develops strong buoyancy, awareness and adaptability that will make you a better all-round diver.
2 theory sessions
4 confined water sessions
2 open water diving days
Full scuba equipment, including drysuit
PADI certification
Minimum age of 10
Comfortable in the water and able to meet PADI swimming requirements
Completion of a Fit to Dive medical questionnaire before in-water training
Parent or guardian consent for under-18s
No previous diving experience is required
4 weeks
A full course schedule will be provided when you book, covering all theory, pool and open water sessions.
